Biography

John was born in 1805 in Washington, Tennessee. He was the son of Sherwood Vaughn.[1]

John married Nancy Matlock on 22 March 1827 in , Washington, Tennessee. The couple had 8 children: Nancy Vaughan, Thomas Sherwood Vaughn, Henderson Clark Vaughan, Edney Eda Vaughan, William Russell Vaughn, Missouri Vaughan, Mary Jane Vaughn and @I07655@.

In 1850 John was living in District 24, Crawford, Missouri.[2]

John died at the age of about 55 in 1860 in Maries County, Missouri.[3]
