Claiborne was born about 1772. He was the son of Samuel Vaughan and Prudence Hood. He passed away before May 1835. He (1) Mary Nall 11 Nov 1799 and was still m. to her As of 1814 DB D.399, As of 1826 DB I.480 and As of 1828 DB J.194. He m. (2) Katherine Haynor 24 December 1832 (Bartholomew, IN).
