It then shows up in the 1783 Alterations List. Then in the May 1, 1785 to May 1, 1786 Alterations List taxation is transferred to James Vaughan, Jr. There is no deed on record of this transfer. Then in 1796-1797 Alterations List taxation is transferred from James Vaughan (with no Jr.) back to George. George pays taxes on the land in 1797. Again, there is no deed on record of this transfer. Then in 1796 George deeds the property outright to James Brunswick Co. D.B. 16.352 . James resumes paying taxes on the tract in 1798. George dies intestate in 1813.
