Hi, Mari-San. I am not able to change your privacy setting for you. Once you login to your profile page at WikiTree, you can select the Privacy tab and then click on the circle in front of "Private with public tree" or "Private with public biography and tree" to allow WikiTree to make DNA connections for you.

I hope this helps! ~Meghan

Hello,

I am a WikiTree DNA Project Volunteer Helper. I wanted to let you know that when you post DNA test information on a WikiTree profile, WikiTree needs to be able to see the profile Family Tree Tab (top of WikiTree Profile) to make DNA connections down the ancestral lines.

I would like to suggest that you consider changing the privacy level on this profile and all of the ancestors to be at a level that allows everyone to see the Family Tree tab. Click the "Privacy" tab and set your level to "Private with public tree" or "Private with public biography and tree".

For further information on the available Privacy levels needed to facilitate this, please see: Wikitree privacy controls

Thank you, Meghan

Hello Mari-San

Re: Ernest Burt.

  • I corrected Ar to Arkansas added United States, based on the dates of the biography.
  • Please look at the top of Ernest Burt's page. There are 6 tab looking images which to me resemble file folder tabs. 5th tab from the left is Changes, click that, and you can see the changes. If you had 50 changes all would be there.. You now have 2 . The last is my change...
  • No, we are not proof readers. WikiTree has a program that runs every profile for Errors. I worked on Texas History and have one for profiles that have the word "Texas" in the data. Thus Ernest Burt appeared..

You also have Errors Report listed very top of your page under <My WikiTree> is a drop-down list, scroll down, your Errors Report is 5th on the list.

Cheers, Mary

Hi Mari-San,

I see that you just did the Pre-1700 Self-Certification. That's great! Is there a particular time period, location, or topic you're interested in? Maybe you have some historically-significant ancestors? Participation in a project is strongly encouraged for those wishing to edit Pre-1700 profiles. Why don't you stop by the Project List to see how you can participate?

Be sure to also check out our Volunteer Hub to see our projects that really need new members!

Let me know, and I can help you figure out if there's a project that might interest you.

Welcome aboard, we are glad to have you!
