Biography

Addie was separated from her husband , Holder. He was running with another woman and at that time, times were very hard and Holder was not providing for his family. Addie was having to depend on her brother, Charley Benjamin Vaught, to support her. Because of this, Addie felt that she was a burden to her brother and committed suicide. She was 25 years old. She was a beautiful lady (we have a picture of her) and she is buried at Whitefield Cemetery under the name, Vaught.
