Biography

From Glenwood Herald, Glenwood Arkansas, Thursdy Feb. 8, 1979 Jess Franklin Vaught, 81, of Coos Bay Oregon died January 30 in a Coss Bay hospital.

He was a native of Montgomery County, the son of Jasper Hamilton Vaught and Bonnie Audrey Vaught, but had been a resident of Oregon for the past 30 years. He was a retired employee of Georgia Pacific Lumber Co., a Methodist having united with the Methodist Church of Caddo Gap in 1915, a member of Black Springs Lodge No. 543 F.&A.M. and received his 50 year membership pin in 1977.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs Cerila Vaught of Coos Bay; one step daughter, Mrs Doris Dale of Portland Oregon, one stepson Carl Montan of Fresno, California and 2 sisters Mrs. S. E. Goss of Austin Texas and Mrs W.H. Tackett of Glenwod.
