It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Christophe by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Christophe:

Hello all,

I am working to clear up some of the issues with this family and other families from the "Betty" and the "Speedwell" and will be adding some sources and information.

Veinot-93 and Vienot-3 appear to represent the same person because: Same person. Someone seems to be confused over variations in the name.

22 Children? Do we know that for sure?

Veinot-20 and Vienot-3 do not represent the same person because: I have rechecked various sources and all seem to agree that Leopold and Jeanne Vienot (sp) had two elder sons 1. Jean (Jacques) Christophe born ca. 1731 and 2. Jacques (Jean) Christopher b.ca.1741. One married Jeanne Daree and the other married Elizabeth Robar (Robert). There seems to be a lot of confusing transcriptions of the Veinot (Vienot) tree all over the internet but this seems to be consistent throughout. Thanks for checking on that and let me know if you find out anything further.
