Biography

Anna Maria Velraed was born in 1816. She is the daughter of Hendrik Velraed and Maria Aretz.^[1]

In 1817 she passed away.^[2]

Research notes

Transcription inconsistencies. There are inconsistencies in the WieWasWie transcription of the death certificate. The mother of Anna Maria is called Krechel but upon closer examination of the scanned death certificate it can be concluded that Aretz is written.

Birth record additional information. The father is called Heinrich Velraed and the mother is mentioned as Anna Maria Aretz. The moment of birth is said to be 6 o'clock in the morning. The age of the father is 25 and his occucpation is day laborer (GE: Taglöhner). As witnesses are mentioned Peter Wiertz, age 40, occupation day laborer and Nicolas Potgens, age 24, living in Kerkrade. Father and witnesses are not able to sign.

Remarks to the birth record. The birth record is written in the German language and the first names have been altered to German. The age of the father is actually 26 as his birthday is most likely in September 1790.
