Katherine was born about 1505. She passed away in 1545.

Profile Masseuy-4 and the profiles for his family confuse people from two different families:

1. John Massey of Puddington, died 1551, married Katherine Venables; they did not have a son John.^[1] Massey-1832 is the existing profile for this John; Masseuy-4 is a duplicate. Venables-146 is the existing profile for Katherine Venables; Venables-2063 is a duplicate.
2. John Massey of Codington, whose fourth wife was Mary or Anne Hughes, was the son of Roger Massey of Codington and his wife, Elizabeth Brerton.^[2] Massey-1768 is the existing profile for this John; Masseuy-3 is a duplicate. Hughes-5724 is the existing profile for his wife Mary or Anne Hughes; Hughes-24076 is a duplicate.

In addition, there's some confusion as to which Baron of Kinderton was the father of Katherine Venables: Thomas Venables;^[3] or his son, Sir William Venables.^[1] WikiTree has her connected as the daughter of William Venables-168. Venables-63 is the existing profile for her supposed father Thomas; Venables-2064 is a duplicate of Thomas.

To rectify this:
