Biography

Farmer Venn was born in 1773 in Rowberrow, Somerset, England, the son of Thomas Venn and Sarah (Batten) Venn. His forename cane from that of his maternal grandfather. Widowed, in 1841 he lived in Roxberrow,[1]where he died in November of 1844.[2]
