William was born in 1861[1] and was christened on 20 October at Holy Trinity, Tottenham, Middlesex[2]. He was the son of William Venn and Fanny Keeling. He passed away in 1922[3].
In 1885, at St Alphege Greenwich, Kent, William married Mabel, daughter of William Henry Smith[4][5]. They were divorced in 1901[6]. William married secondly, Mary Christian Bell[7].
