Will dated May 19, 1777.
Lived in Rumbouts Precinct, Dutchess County, NY.
Only surviving son and heir of Philip Ver Planck, lately deceased, of the manor of Cortlandt, Westchester, NY.
Daughters: Catherine, Gertrude, Margaret, Anna Maria.
Brother: John, deceased without children.
Eldest son: Philip, not yet age 21.
Youngest son: William Beekman, not yet age 21.
Wife: deceased.
Only the two sons.
Has a sister.
Executors: Pierre Van Courtlandt. Samuel Van Planck of New York. Brother-in-law Gerard G Beekman of New York. Brother-in-law David Beekman of St. Croix. John Cook of Rumbourt.
Lost the use of his right hand.
Proved October 6, 1790 by Albert Monfoort of Fishkill, one of the witnesses.
Note in margin by the Surrogate Judge: Original [will] taken by Philip Van Planck, March 9, 1791.

Beekman Verplanck Hoffman born 1789-11-28. Married Phoebe Townsend in November 1817. Died 1834-12-10.
Charles Edward Hoffman born 1791-11-22.
Euphemia Verplanck Hoffman born 1794-01-21. Married Frederick Babcock on 1817-10-18.
Samuel Anthony De Veaux Hoffman born 1797-05-02, died 1829-07-20.
