Evelyn Marie Martin (Eve) was born January 19, 1938 in Shannon County, Missouri the daughter of Melvin and Katie (Tucker) Vermillion. She passed away on December 28, 2013 at Mountain View Healthcare in Mountain View, MO at the age of 75 years.

Evelyn was united in marriage to James Pollman. She later married Sammie Martin on December 25, 1959, recently celebrating 54 years of marriage.

Evelyn is survived by her husband Sammie Martin of Mountain View, MO; five children Evanna Koogler and husband Rick of Winona, MO; Rona Pollman Cinciripini of Ste. Genevieve, MO; Bryan Martin and wife Potoy of Desoto, MO; Clinton Martin and wife Elaine of Hillsboro, MO; and Jackie Layman and friend Ewell Washam of Mountain View, MO; eight grandchildren: Riketta Renegar and husband Frank of Mountain View, MO; Rick Koogler of Hillsboro, MO; Amanda Sansegraw and husband Griffin of Potosi, MO; Henry Cinciripini and wife Emily of Potosi, MO; Brandon Layman and wife Tara of San Antonio, TX; Anna Martin of Winona, MO; Jacob Martin of Desoto, MO and Nicole Martin of Desoto, MO; twelve great grandchildren: Frankie (Bulldozer) Renegar and wife Breona of Mountain View, MO; Rickie (Pujols) Renegar and fiancé Morgan McKinzie of West Plains, MO; Jenna Koogler, Gilbert Werner, Olivia, Celeste and Macon Sansegraw, Silas and Celia Cinciripini; Andrew Layman, Lucas Layman and Jack Layman; Cannon Martin, and two great-great grandson, Blake Renegar and; four sisters: Sally Lunsford and husband JR of Fredericktown, MO; Jenny Morris and husband Bert of St. Louis, MO; Carol Mooney of Eminence, MO; Melba Snider and husband Roy of Winona, MO; two brothers: Alan Vermillion and wife Sue of Cuba, MO; Brock Vermillion and wife Sonja of Cuba, MO; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents Melvin and Katie Vermillion; two brothers: Gene and Bill Vermillion; one sister Nadine Vermillion; and one grandchild Luke Martin.

Evelyn retired from White-Rodgers in St. Louis, MO. She moved to Mountain View, MO to spend her retirement years. She loved doing and giving for others. She loved being around family and friends. If the car started she would be the first one ready to go, especially if you said the word shopping. Not so much for herself, but she loved giving and buying for others. She loved planting trees and working in her yard. If there was one pebble in her yard you could bet she would find it. She was a great mother and grandmother to all of us. She will be sadly missed.
