Isaac Vernon was one of three Quaker brothers that received land grants in William Penn's Colony in Pennsylvania. The Vernons were among the first settlers to arrive in Penn's Colony.(2) In the minutes of the Quaker Meeting from Pennsylvania, it is noted that daughter Hannah Vernon was disowned for her marriage 'out of unity.'[1]
