Hi Jane

You have contacted me about Ann Chadbourn. What questions do you have about her - I probably won’t be able to help as I have not been able to research any further back on that branch. You said that you had more details on her family however you do not seem to have uploaded your research into WikiTree. If you have problems uploading the information then myself or Michele may be able to help. Once that’s happened, your questions about Ann Chadbourn may be resolved. Regards Sarah

I'm Ann Cadbourn's 6th great-granddaughter on her direct maternal line.. Ann Chadbourn, then Mary Wright, then Ann Storer, then Sarah Boddice, then Pricilla Collinson, then Constance Cooper, then Janet Boddice, Then me Jane Vernon, then both my daughters Malia and Bailey Lewis...

You don't have Pricilla Collinson on your tree, nor some of her other siblings, but I found a book about the Collinsons online by someone in Canada because some of that family ended up in B.C. and it lists all of the siblings.

My family tree is on familytreedna.com but I am only researching my direct maternal line right now and have not loaded it into Wiki because I am trying to find the next mother after Ann Chabourn.

Where did you get her birthdate from? Did you see that she was 43 when she married John Wright who was 23 at the time, according to your sources, which is very unusual for the times? In her 20s she would have lived right through the Jacobite uprising and lived close to where they marched to and fought. (see Outlander) There is a possibility that she could have been married before marrying John Wright and that Chadbourn could have been her married name. I would just be very grateful if you could forward me your sources on her so I can try and solve the mystery.. there were other Chadbourns in the area at the time, I would love to connect her with her family.
