Biography

Italian street musician Luigi Vettese came from Italy to Göteborg in December 1926 together with Angelo Capaldi, Giuseppe Palombo and Carlo Palombo. In this record there are names for his parents: Domenico (Vettese) and Annunziata Donatella.^[1] In 1928 he was transferred to another page in the book for Masthugget and in 1929 he went to Stockholm, Katarina.^[2] In 1933 Luigi Vettese came back to Göteborg, together with his son, Agostino. Here there is a marriage date for Luigi and his (absent) wife: 19 November 1919. In 1938 they returned to Stockholm.^[3]

At the time of the census 1940 Luigi Vettese lived in Maria parish with his wife and three children.^[4]

Luigi Vettese died in Stockholm 20 May 1971.^[5]
