It has been a couple of weeks since we contacted you about your participation in the Louisiana Families Project and as we haven't heard from you, we are following up to make sure you wish to remain a member.
We understand that interests shift as we grow our shared tree and that some members may have moved on to projects more pertinent to the branches they are currently building. If this is the case for you, please let us know.
If we do not hear back from you within the week, we will assume you have moved on to other things for the moment and remove you from the project. Please know that you will always be welcome to rejoin should your interests shift back in this direction.
Thank you so much for your participation; we genuinely appreciate it.
On behalf of the Louisiana Families Project, we are doing a periodic check-in with members. Please review the project page [1], and if you feel you are able and would like to contribute to the project in the upcoming months, please let me know by commenting on my profile or sending a private message. If you have other obligations or interests at the moment and would like to be removed from the project at this time, you will always be welcome to rejoin if you find yourself with more time and interest later.
All of us at WikiTree would like to thank you for your contributions and hope that you are enjoying exploring your roots.
hi, one of your tags is Richard. my mother was a Richard from the Church Point ,Louisiana area. do you have any info on any Richards from that area. would love to hear from you,
Hi Charles, I see that you are a profile manager of a Beaugh name from Grand coteau. I too am a Beaugh from the Church Point Area & have just started a Beaugh Name Study. I would hope you would be willing to add some information & research interests to my project page.
The project profile has a handy set of links on it... I use it most to connect to the Google Group. It's also listed in Category:Louisiana Families Project along with other project members who have added the category to their profile (encouraged, but not a requirement).
Please stop by the project page - I've added your name to the members listed there, if you'd like to add to it. If not, you or I can delete it next week or so.
I'm confused. This one is you? but died 2000? a typo. This is fine style wise. I think it's ok to source near relatives that you knew/know (and yourself) with first hand information. Were this your grandfather, I would suggest you add "real" sources. I see you did that for Delbert.
The confused part is Vickers-997 has the style review, but it's now managed by wikitree admin. Are you working with someone to get yourself on the profile that's actually you.?
Anyway the other one is missing

I love you volunteer message! "... it is time for me to begin to task of correcting and sourcing the information I have accrued, and become a real genealogist, and not just a gatherer." Perfect!
Have fun and ask for help if you need it! WikiTree members are always eager to offer guidance to a fellow genealogist.
If you need additional help, our Mentors Project is a friendly bunch of volunteers who will be glad to assist you with WikiTree-specific problems.
Charles James Vickers and Frances Louise Peart were my parents. My mother stared me in genealogy when she asks me to create a simple spreadsheet for her cousin. That was 20 years ago and over that span of time I have collected names - some 26,000.
So, now it is time for me to begin to task of correcting and sourcing the information I have accrued, and become a real genealogist, and not just a gatherer.
