Vernell “Vern” Vickery Rainey Alexander, 96, of Greenville, wife of the late Mortie “Shorty” Rainey and the late Col. David C. Alexander, Ret., died March 20, 2016.
Born in Hartwell, GA, she was a daughter of the late Lonnie and Kate Seawright Vickery. She was the last surviving member of her birth family which included nine sisters and one brother.
Burial: New Silver Brook Cemetery in Anderson.
