DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with James by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with James:

Vickery-657 and Vickery-180 appear to represent the same person because: Hello, I have been researching today on FamilySearch.org which is where I found an existing family tree that linked into mine at this profile; James Vickery b.1760. I have a possible name for his wife, but I could find no sources earlier to confirm it.

I found it when I was searching for the father and mother of James F Vickery (b. ~1820) who came to London from Ireland in the mid-19th century. It turns out that he moved there with his parents and younger siblings, most of which were born in London.

Thanks, Freddy
