DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Jacobus by comparing test results with other carriers of his ancestors' Y-chromosome or mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA test-takers in his direct paternal line.
Mitochondrial DNA test-takers in the direct maternal line:
Liz Uys :
Family Tree DNA mtDNA Test Full Sequence, haplogroup L0d1c1a, FTDNA kit #L0d1c1a
Did he receive the last name or father or ? (onecht) normally they probably would receive mothers name, so Vicor, but sogesegde father seems to be present so .. perhaps it was Dosijn ? It had LNAB template but just the info added to the Bio and the record...so I wasn't sure what it had to be or if it had to be Dosijn and PPP't it for now.
Perhaps it could use more research to make sure ?
