Biography

Stephen Eilden Vidler was born on 7 December 1850 in Campbelltown, New South Wales, Australia, the son of John and Mercy (Eilden) Vidler^[1]. He was the brother of John Vidler, Samuel Vidler, Thomas Collins Vidler, Joseph Vidler, Charles Wesley Vidler, Elizabeth Emily (Vidler) Smith and William James Newton Vidler.

He married Cornelia Jane Greenstreet on 12 September 1870 at Campbelltown, New South Wales, Australia, who was the granddaughter of his uncle James and Hannah (Bovis) Vidler^[2]. He was the father of Arthur Baynes Vidler, Charlotte Maud Vidler, Alice Isobel Vidler, George Emerson Vidler, Edith Amy Vidler, Mary Jane Vidler, Emily Ivy Vidler, Herbert Eilden Vidler, Ethel Amy Vidler and Effie May Vidler

Stephen died on 4 November 1947 in Crookwell, New South Wales, Australia^[3].
