George Ernest Vidler was born on 1 December 1872 in Bulli, New South Wales, Australia[1], the son of Samuel Vidler and Eliza Nethery and the brother of William Henry Vidler, John Alfred Vidler, Elizabeth Jane Vidler, Samuel Charles Vidler, Sarah Eleanor (Vidler) Carrick, Emmeline Esther (Vidler) Watts, Robert Arthur Vidler and James Joseph Vidler.
George married Grace Catherine Hickey on 23 January 1900 in Marrickville, [2] and their children were Dorothy Mary Vidler, Eileen Olive Vidler and George Patrick Sydney Vidler.
The marriage broke down after the birth of their youngest child, and George formed a relationship with Florence Ada Patricia Cotton in about 1905 while they did not marry, and they had four children Robina Florence Vidler, Thomas Henry Vidler [twin] and John Ernest Vidler [twin] and George R Vidler.
George's wife Grace eventually divorced him in 1914 she went on to marry David WILLIAMS in 1915.
Florence then married James Hodson in 1917.
George died on 19 September 1947 in Gosford, New South Wales, Australia[3] and was buried at Point Clare Cemetery, Point Clare, New South Wales, Australia[4].
