Biography

Janet Viemann was born to Daniel Viemann and Arvilla Zua Miller in 1939, in Crescent City, California. She was the second of two girls born to the family.

As a young girl she was always interested in fashion and took great pride in her appearance.

In 1957 she married her first husband Leslie Howard Martin. They had 4 children.

She started her accounting work career, running a branch of the Patelco Credit Union, out of her house, her husband being an employee of Pacific Telephone himself. In 1968 she divorced her husband.

She worked very hard raising her 4 children on her own as a single mother. She moved her family from Eureka, to San Jose, Keswick and finally settling in Redding, CA. She was employed at Mercy Hospital in the accounting department. She loved the technology there, love to show of the computer system with the hole punched cards.

She loved to go camping with her sister and their families. She spent many hours at the beach swimming and sunning.
