Communication Preferences:
I am interested in communicating with
cousins and anyone else with an interest in genealogy.
My family tree is here on WikiTree but it's private.
Good Morning Lydia, hope all is well. If you have no objections, I will be adding a husband and son to your profile for Lydia Gochenour, Gochenour-244. Thank-you
I am a direct descendant of Samuel (Carnahan) Cannon. My 2nd great grandfather William Griswold married Elizabeth Cannon. I am very interested in finding out family history.
Wondering if you have run across records for Samuel Gowdy b. 1737 for town service after the Rev War in Enfield, CT? Vol II of the Gowdy History mentions it but doesn't give the dates of service. Looking to file an 1812 application for him, if we can get the dates.
Hello Lydia, The Mayflower Project is requesting that you check-in to let us know you are still interested in being a badged member of the Mayflower Project.
Requirements to maintain your status as a badged Mayflower Project Member:
(1) The mayflower G2G tag is required to be a member.
(2) You must be active on Wikitree within the last year. If you are barely active you may also be removed.
(3) You must respond to checkin requests. Note that if you manage one or more Mayflower profiles you will not be asked to checkin.
You may respond by replying to this comment or sending me a private message.
Thank you for being a member of WikiTree and the Mayflower Project.
Yes I am still interested and I have been active. If there is something specific that applies to me that you show as deficienet please let me know. I am not sure what a "checkin" message is. I am a GSMD member.
Lydia, if you have no objections, I will be adding a child to the profile you manage for Rebecca Grabill, Grabill-85. I will also be adding a biography with sources. Thank-you
Are you referring to https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Ryerson-368 ?? Looks like Im not the profile manager of that one. Looks like that information is based on a marriage record. You would need to contact that profile manager directly for additional questions. I would recommend sending message from actual profile rather than public posting on main wall of a profile manager.
Looks like Martin L Ryerson is the son of Fred Ryerson so sounds like you might have him confused with another Martin Ryerson.
Lydia, TYVM for the photo of Henry Seymour Watrous. I am interested in all things Watrous as that is my direct family line. I believe Henry is brother of my great-grandpa. TY again!
Hello Lydia, hope all is well. I connected your 2 profiles as husband and wife, Joseph Thomas Baler, Baker-36021, and Christina Gochenour, Gochenour-208. I added sources, added their cemetery category, wrote biographies, and added the daughter I was interested in. I estimated their marriage date from census record birth of first child. I did not remove anything you had entered. Thank you
Lydia, I was wandering if you are aware, according to sources I have researched. that your profile for Joseph Thomas Baker, Baker-36021, and your profile for Christina Ellen Gochenour, Gochenour-208, they are husband and wife. Do you mind if I connect them and add sources.
Thank you, Lydia, for your more than one thousand contributions to our Shared Tree during the month of September. The Appreciation Team honors you for all of your efforts.
Lydia, every one of your more than 1000 contributions for the month of August 2009 adds to the improvement of our Shared Tree. Thanks so much for all of your efforts.
Hi Lydia! Thank you very much for your consideration of our Larkins ancestor. I left a response for you.
While your suggested Jean (Bartlett) Abbot is not our ancestor, we do have a Bartlett connection. This is through one of my ggg-grandfathers, Cornelius Austin, who m. Claris(s)a Bartlett in 1812 in New York. We are unable to positively tie either to their parents, although there is some speculation that Cornelius's father was "George." However, this is just a misinterpretation of George Austin's age in the 1850 US Federal Census - which does not prove relationships anyway. (Just in case you run across this).
Thank you for your time and energy in creating over 1000 (actually, over 1400!) contributions to WikiTree for the month of July 2019. Your efforts are appreciated!
Very well done on your making 1,000 or more contributions to WikiTree in June 2019! We commend and appreciate all of your time and effort in helping to grow and perfect our Shared Tree. Keep up the great work!
Congratulations on making more than 1,000 contributions to WikiTree for the Month of May. We all appreciate your efforts to make our Shared Tree the best it can be. Keep up the great work and THANK YOU!
Does this mean I should remove the parents and siblings from Richards-2102 and add the 2nd spouse to Richards-463 ? I have rounded up enough sources to do that.
Richards-463 and Richards-2102 match in spouse and dates, but the parents and siblings on Richards-2012 don't belong to this couple. The parents and the listed siblings on Richards-463 appear to be correct, with the parents matching VR.
My great grandmother was Ida Longtin Labadie. I just joined Wikitree.
