Biography

Charles Francois Vige, son of Jean Francois Vige and Azelie Foret, was born on 10 Oct. 1833, his birth was recorded at St. Landry Catholic Church, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.[1]

He married Leocadie Pitre, daughter of Louis PItre and Magedline Brunet, on 5 July 1853, their marriage was recorded at St. Landry Catholic Church, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.[1]

Charles Francois Vige died about 1861 in the Civil War.[citation needed]

His succession was dated 6 Jan. 1866 in St. Landry Parish, Louisiana, the same day that his widow married Paul Norman..[1]
