He married Catherine Catoir probably about 1775 based on the birth date of their known oldest child in 1777.[1]
Their children were baptized at St. Landry Catholic Church, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.
Charles died at age about 84 years and was buried on 18 Feb. 1816 in the parish cemetery in St. Landry Parish, Louisiana. His death was recorded at at St. Landry Catholic Church, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana..[1]
