Leonard Vincent was born about 1690 at Lower Yonkers, New York. He was the son of Charles Vincent and Elizabeth Dix. Leonard lived at Eastchester, New York and died there. He died sometime after 3 March 1773 when in a deed Leonard Vincent, Jr. granted to his brother Richard Vincent half the land Leonard Vincent, Sr. had granted him several months before, since both had undertaken to share equally in the support and maintenance of their parents.[1][2]

The Vincent family was living in Fordham, New York in 1698.[3]
