Biography

George Edward Vincent was born 25 Oct 1898 in Marion, West Virginia. He was the son of Edward Lee Vincent and Eliza Catherine Carpenter.

In 1900 E. L. Vincent (age 34) and his wife Eliza (age 30) are living in Union District, Marion, West Virginia with their children: Andrew M. (age 13), U.M (age 12), Francis M (age 11), Joseph H (age 8), William C. (age 6), Margaret K. (age 4), and George E. (age 2). Edward and Eliza have been married for 13 years. Eliza has had 7 children and all are living. All were born in West Virginia. Edward is a farmer. Andrew is a farm hand. Andrew and U.M. are attending school. ^[1]
