5 December 1965 was a Sunday.
SUNDAY DECEMBER 05, 1965
US date format: 12/5/1965, UK date format: 5/12/1965
We've performed the most in-depth research possible on December 5, 1965, here's what our experts found out: it was Sunday, under the sign of Sagittarius (see Chinese Zodiac and Moon Sign on December 5, 1965). The US president was Lyndon B. Johnson (Democrat), the UK Prime Minister was Harold Wilson (Labour), Pope St Paul VI was leading the Catholic Church. Famous people born on this day include John Rzeznik and John Rzeznik. In that special week of December people in US were listening to Turn! Turn! Turn! (To Everything There Is A Season) by The Byrds. In UK The Carnival Is Over by The Seekers was in the top 5 hits. A Patch of Blue, directed by Guy Green, was one of the most viewed movie released in 1965 while Games People Play by Eric Berne was one of the best selling book. On TV people were watching The Newcomers.
I am focusing on the years after 1600.
I also research my maternal lines which include South African Afrikaner and Dutch, French, Belgian and German influences.
My DNA "Ethnicity Report" indicates 41% England & North Western Europe (Kerrier Cornwall, West Cornwall & The Isles of Scilly); 18% Sweden & Denmark; 14 % Scotland; 13% Germanic People; 6% Norway; 5% Ireland.
My fortune teller told me that he saw me sailing a boat with a blue and white striped sail, in a previous life.

Thank you for your message. I do enjoy working on the profiles. A large proportion of my work seems to be on the Cornwall profiles and i therefore joined the Cornwall group. My paternal paternal family are Cornish and i hope to visit there as soon as i can. I will keep slogging away doing the research. I do most of the work in the early mornings, evenings and over weekends. I have also found the Cornwall OPC database to be easy to use and it provides a good hit ratio. I hope that we can chat again. Kind regards Bruce
Ian

Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz. As Pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working within a project is essential
Please ensure locations are entered on all profiles and data matches the dates of the profile. Avoid abbreviations, add sources with citations & links for sources to support the data. Thank you for signing the Honor Code and for adding your DNA Test information to your profile on WikiTree. Your information will be propagated to the profiles of your parents and your ancestors within about 24 hours of being added. It will also propagate to the profiles of the descendants of your ancestors, so they may see your information under the heading "DNA Connections" just as you can see theirs.
Getting started with DNA outlines how to proceed to use your DNA test information on WikiTree and DNA is a link to a collection of links about WikiTree's many features involving DNA.
The DNA Connections list on your profile will provide a visual way for you to find potential relatives on WikiTree who have also added their DNA test information. Using DNA tools at sites like GEDMatch.com, if you find a relative that matches your DNA sufficiently and you have genealogical sources for the intermediate relationships, you can mark the specific parental relationships back to the most recent ancestor that you both share as "confirmed with DNA." For details, guidance, and examples of how to properly document DNA confirmations, see DNA confirmation.
To find other potential relatives, continue adding sourced profiles for other lines until you can connect on all branches. The more branches you are able to add the greater the likelihood of finding potential cousins to match with. The process of identifying which branch elements of DNA relate to will better enable you to find matches that relate to the particular branches you are researching.
Have fun!
