Arthur was born in 1903. He was the son of Abraham Vineberg and Anna Berman.[1]
"One of Canada's pioneer cardiac surgeons, famous for his experimental and clinical studies in revascularization of the heart, his early successes proved a major stimulus to the later development of the whole field of surgery for coronary heart disease."[2]
