Amanda (Siddall) Neff
Though not as famous, Nana lived a parallel life to Laura Ingalls Wilder. She homesteaded in North Dakota, wrote stories (that sold), raised a family (5 boys) on a farm in Moravia, NY, gardened, had chickens, etc. Every summer, she and I would pick wild raspberries for jam and pies. Whenever I came to visit, she would have a pie made just for me. She is the reason my grands and greats call me "Nana." Margaret Vogt Siddall, 1883 - 1976
