Polly (Volck) Krause has German Roots.

- Alternate birthplace: Surry County, North Carolina
- Death: May 1801[citation needed]
- This is probably from Moravian church records, but exact citation is needed; Johann Krause married his second wife, Dorothy Petree, in March 1803 per Stokes County, North Carolina marriage bond.

- Anna Maria (Volck) Krause (1774-1801) has been confused with Anna Maria (Pfeil) Krause. They married brothers, Johann Krause and Wendel Krause respectively.[1]
