Family #309 in the 1834 Grimm census.
Family #329 in the 1857 Grimm census.
The 1834 census shows there were two Michael Volmers in this family, only two years apart. Either this is a census taker error, or the two men had diffferent first names, like Johann or Georg, that helped differentiate between the two.
