Biography

Anna (Herckendall) Quattlebaum has German Roots.

Anna was married to Peter Quattlebaum.

Petter Quattelbaum was the second name on the list of immigrants listed on 17 October 1736 at the courthouse in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He signed an oath of allegiance to his new home and an oath of abjuration, in which he renounced his citizenship in his former home. This was recorded in the Colonial Records. Petter and his family were among the thirty-seven immigrant families from the "Palatinate" in the Brigantine "John" of Perth Amboy. [1]

Petter's family included his wife Anna Barbara and three daughters: Gertraud, Maria Catherina and Anna Barbara. There was possibly a son, Mathias, who may have been born after they arrived. There was also a Maria Quattelbaum who is believed to be the mother of Petter. [1]
