Markgräfin Mathilde von Brandenburg (* um 1210; † 10. Juni 1261 in Lüneburg) war durch Heirat Herzogin von Braunschweig-Lüneburg. Sie war die Tochter des Markgrafen Albrecht II. von Brandenburg (1150–1220) aus dem Hause der Askanier und seiner Gattin Gräfin Mathilde von der Lausitz (1185–1225), Tochter des Grafen Konrad II. von Landsberg.[1]

According to Europäische Stammtafeln Mathilde von Brandenburg was born between 1206 and 1215,[2] most other sources settle on about 1210.[3][4] Her parents were Albrecht II Markgraf von Brandenburg and Mathilde von Landsberg.[5] About 1228 she married Otto I Herzog von Braunschweig-Lüneburg. Mathilde died in 1261.[6] Children of Otto I Herzog von Braunschweig-Lüneburg and Matilde von Brandenburg [7]
