Werner Thomas Ludwig von Fritsch is born August 4, 1880. He is baptized August 31, 1880 in Benrath, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. He is a son of Georg Ludwig von Fritsch and Adelheid von Bodelschwingh.
He is a member of the German High Command. He is commander-in-chief of the German Army from 1933 until February 1938, when he is forced to resign after being falsely accused of being homosexual.
von Fritsch dies September 22, 1939 in Warsaw, Poland.
