Anna Charlotte Dorothea von Medem was born on February 3, 1761 in Mežotne, Bauskas Rajons, Latvija.
Baltic German countess and duchess of Courland.
Dorothea married Peter von Biron (born on February 15, 1724 in Mitau, Kurland; son of Duke Ernst Johann von Biron and Duchess Benigna Gottlieb von Trotha gennant Treyden). Their children were:
- Katharina Friederike Wilhelmine Benigna von Biron (1781–1839)
- Luise Pauline Maria Biron von Sagan und Kurland (1782–1845)
- Johanna Katharina von Biron (1783–1876)
- Dorothée von Biron (1793–1862)
Dorothea died on August 20, 1821 in Löbichau, Sachsen-Altenburg, Deutscher Bund, aged 60.
