Biography

Andreas was born in 1808 in Benningen. He was the son of vintner and local council Johann Georg Vordermeier and Maria Dorothea, née Vordermeier.[1]

On 24 Jun 1834 he married in Benningen Katharina Dorothea Eberle. The family migrated in 1852 to North America.[2]

They had the following children born in Benningen:

  • 12 Sep 1836 Johann Andreas
  • 23 Aug 1838 Christian Gottlieb
  • 24 Mar 1841 Johannes
  • 30 Oct 1849 Christiana and Gottlob (twins)
