Albert Cornelius Voris was born in New Jersey in 1753, the son of Cornelius Albert Vorhees (1725-?) and Magdalena Isaac VanNuys (1725-1766).

Revolutionary War Veteran. Private for Pennsylvania in the Rifle Regiment with Captain Richard Brown and Colonel Miles. ^[1]
