In the 1900 census, she was 13 years old serving as a maid for a family in Finnås, Bømlo.
In the 1911, she lived in Finnås prestegjeld, Bømlo sokn with her husband Severin and their daughter Sofie Johanna who was baptised that year.
At the time of the 1945 Voorbode explosion in Bergen, she was looking through a window and was permanently blinded by the shattered glass from the window blowing in.
She passed away about 1970.
