Margaret Vose was born in about 1801 in St Helens, Lancashire.

Their daughter Elizabeth was christened on 31 May 1830 at St Helens Chapel of Ease in the parish of Prescot, Lancashire. Her father's occupation was recorded as labourer, and the family's address as Windle.

Their son Thomas was christened on 27 May 1832 at St Helens Chapel of Ease in the parish of Prescot, Lancashire. His father's occupation was recorded as labourer, and the family's address as Windle.

Their son Joseph was christened on 25 May 1834 at St Helens Chapel of Ease in the parish of Prescot, Lancashire. His father's occupation was recorded as labourer, and the family's address as Windle.

Margaret married Thomas Johnson on 19 Apr 1840 at Rainford Chapel of Ease in the parish of Prescot, Lancashire.
