Biography

Heinrich, Graf von Württemberg-Mömpelgard was the son of Count Ulrich V of Württemberg-Stuttgart and his second wife Elisabeth von Bayern-Landshut.

He married Elisabeth von Zweibrücken-Bitsch in 1485. They had one son:

  1. Eitel Heinrich, renamed Ulrich, duke of Württemberg.

Elisabeth died shortly after her son's birth.

Heinrich remarried on 20 July 1488 Countess Eva von Salm, and had two children:

  1. Maria, married Heinrich, duke of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel
  2. Georg, Count of Mömpelgard.

He died at Hohenurach 15. or 16. April 1519.

Wurttemberg-59 and Württemberg-71 appear to represent the same person because: They are siblings to the same father, with same name, died same date, both had son Ulrich. I assume that Württemberg would be the better choice for last name at birth bsaed on father and accents. This will need a pre-1500 certified person to complete.
