Biography

Nancy was born in Cole County, Missouri in 1818 to William Wade and Anne Johnson.

She married David McKinney on August 27, 1837 and was the mother of 11 of his 17 children. They moved south from Cole County to Texas County, Missouri before 1857.

Nancy passed away on August 20, 1862 at age 44, when her youngest child was 15 months old. She is buried in Ozark Cemetery, Houston, Texas County, Missouri, near her husband and his second wife. [1]
