Biography
Sarah Wade was born in 1793, daughter of Alexander Wade (1762 - ) and Mary (Unknown) Wade (1762 - ).
Her sister was Margaret (Wade) Cole (~1782 - 1876).
Sarah (~22) married Jonathan Cole (~24) (born in Sackville, Westmorland, New Brunswick about 1791; died in Dorchester, Westmorland on 14 Apr 1872), son of Ebenezer Cole and Martha Grace, on 28 Dec 1815. Their children were:
- James Valentine Cole (1814 - 1883)
- Michael Grace Cole (>1815 - )
- Frances Cole (~1824 - 1892)
- Rufus Cole (1827 - 1911)
- Emily (Cole) Read (1832 - 1870)
- Martin Cole (1835 - 1926).
Sarah died on 24 Mar 1859 in Dorchester aged ~65. She is buried in Dorchester Cape Cemetery, Dorchester.[1]
Sarah's sister Margaret married Jonathan's father, Ebenezer. So Sarah was sister-in-law and daughter-in-law to him.
