Benjamin was born in 1735. He was the son of Ichabod Wadsworth and Margaret Marshall.
In 1745, his mother, Margaret was appointed to be his guardian.[1]
He passed away in 1782.

In the Name of God amen. The Twelfth Day of May in the year of our Lord one Thousand Seven Hundred & Eighty one, 1781 and In The Fifth year of our Independence, I Benjamin Wadsworth, of [dux]borough in ye County of Plymouth in New England Jentelman I ye [P] Benjamin Wadsworth Being of perfect mind & memory Thankes be to almighty God therefor But Calling to mind the mortallity of my Body & knowint that it is appropriate for all men once to [set] upon Calmn & Sereious Consideration I Do make & ordain this as my Last will & Testament, That is to say Principally and first of all, I give and recomend my Soul Into The Hands of God That gave it, and my Body I Recomend to the Earth to be Buried in decent Christian Burial at the discretion of my Executrix hereafter mentioned nothing doubting but at the General Resurection I shall recive the Same again by the mighty Power of God. And Touching Such Worldly Estate where with it hath Pleased God to Bless me with in this Life, My Just debts being first Paid & my Funeral Charges Defraid I give and dispose of in the following manner & Form. Imprimus I give to my dearly & well beloved wife, Luna Wadsworth, the Improvement Except what is here after Excepted of all my Estate boath Real & Personal what soever it may be or wheresoever it may be found during her natural Life & all the Household furniture on [------] movebils I give to my said well Beloved wife, Luna Wadsworth for her own Property to dispose of in manner & form as she shall Think conveniant Excepting a good Bed & Bed[---] with good & Sufficiant Bed Clouth for said Bed I give to my Sister Hannah Chipmans daghter Luna Chipman after my wifes decease and after my said wife shall decease my will is that all my Lands medowes & all my Estate boath Real & Personal Except a Peace of meddow Lying & being in ye town of duxborough near a [---] Called Little Wood [-----] in Estamation Four acres be it more or less which meddow after my wifes decease, I give to the Town of duxborough Towardes the suport of the gosple or for the [suport] of the, of ye gosple ministree in duxborough and all the rest of my Estate Boath Real & Personal Except my [------] movebils that I gave to my said wife & ye said Bed & furniture that I gave to my Sister Chipmans dagher Luna Chipman who now dwells with me. I give to my three sisters [Surviving] Children, viz, Mary Alden & Hannah Chipman & Lydia Browens to be divided in Equal Proportion among them all [---------- (remaining?)] and Lastly I do ordain & Constitute my well Beloved wife Luna Wadsworth to be my [soul] Executrix of this my Last will and Testament and I do hereby [nullify] dissalow & [revoke] all and every other or Former Testaments & Bequests [----------] by mee in any [------] or [named] willing this and no other Be my Last will & Testament.
