Biography

Joseph Wadsworth was born 1738^[1] and baptized 27 Apr 1746^[2] in Hartford, Connecticut, son of Joseph Wadsworth (1717-1758) and Elizabeth Cook (1724-1809). On 22 Sep 1768 in Hartford^[1][2], he married Jerusha Marsh (1744-1824). They had eight children, born in Hartford^[3].

Joseph purchased land in Onondaga County, New York in 1801^[4]. The family left Hartford in 1802^[1]. Joseph passed away 1824 in Onondaga County, New York^[3].
