William (Wagg) Wegg was born in Norfolk, England.

William Wagg was born about 1816 [1] in Hunworth, Norfolk, England & baptised there 29th December 1816,[1] the son of John Wegg & Mary Fisher.

William Wegg, full age, Bachelor, Labourer, of Upper Sheringham, (son of John Wegg, Labourer) & Martha Howell, full age, Spinster, of Upper Sheringham, (daughter of John Howell, Bricklayer) were married 2nd November 1841 in the Parish Church of Sheringham, Norfolk, England according to the Rites and Ceremonies of the Established Church by Banns by Arthur W. Upcher, Curate. William made his mark; Martha signed. Witnesses were John Howell & Martha Cubitt.[2][3]

Martha Wegg died aged 25, in October 1845 [4][5] in Sheringham, Norfolk, England & was laid to rest there 23rd October 1845.[5]

William Wegg, full age, Widower, Labourer, of Sheringham, (son of John Wegg, Farmer) & Mary Chestney, age 21, Spinster, of Sheringham, (daughter of William Chestney, Labourer) were married 12th January 1849 in the Parish Church of Sheringham, Norfolk, England according to the Rites and Ceremonies of the Established Church by Banns by Arthur W. Upcher, Curate. William made his mark; Mary signed. Witnesses were Thomas Moy & Elizabeth Chestney.[6][7]

William Wegg died 28th August 1885 [8] in Markham Township, York, Ontario, Canada & was laid to rest at the Anglican Cemetery, Markham Township, York, Ontario, Canada.[8]
