Biography

Mary Elizabeth Wagoner was born about 1740 in Piscataqua, Essex, Colony of Virginia, British Colonial America. Her parents were Peter Wagener Jr. and Catherine Robinson who had recently married on the 5th of July, 1739.

She married Spence Monroe Grayson about 1757 in Colchester, Virginia. Together they had many children and she passed away about 1810 in Washington D.C.[1]

"All the other daughters had married, some going to other parts of the South. Later, when the two youngest daughters had married and gone to Mississippi, Mrs. Grayson removed from "Belle Air" to Washington, (There she died in 1810 at the residence of her son-in-law, Mr. Lund Washington."[2]

Buried at Belle-Air, Prince William County, Virginia.

Denise Lukens #T178742 has a 17cm auDNA match with #A501190 on GEDMATCH going back to Mary Elizabeth Wagoner. Relationship would be 5th cousins twice removed. The matching person would be 5th cousins with LeRoy Porter.
