Wilhelm WAGNER was born about 1706 in Germany and died in 1763 during and Indian raid led by Tecumseh on the South Branch of the Potomac.
Just twenty-eight years latter Tecumseh led a raid on the family of his son Johann Wagner during which Margaret Bonnett, his daughter-in-law, four grandsons and one granddaughter, Margaret were killed. Two granddaughters, Mary and Elizabeth and one grandson, Peter, were captured and taken to Detroit. His son had lost his mother and two siblings in the 1763 raid and his entire family in the 1792 raid in Lewis County, (West) Virginia.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with John by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with John:
Waggoner-1431 and Waggoner-1538 appear to represent the same person because: The "John Waggoner" profile is GEDCOM junk and hopelessly unsalvageable because it is a very common name without birth or death information. Only information for the profile is it supposed to be the father of Barbara Waggoner. Her father is Johan Wilhem Waggoner so let merge John Waggoner into this profile to get rid of it.
