First Lieutenant Johannes Wagner served with 5th Battalion, Berks County Militia, Pennsylvania Militia during the American Revolution.

Johannes Wagner was born in 1751 in Berks Co., Pennsylvania.

On 17 May 1777, Johannas was commissioned in the Revolutionary War: 1st Lieutenant 4th Company, 5th Battalion. Pennsylvania Militia.[1][2]

John Wagner is DAR Patriot Ancestor #: A120179. He served as 1st Lieutenant in the 4th Company, 5th Battalion Berks County Militia with Colonel Jacob Weaver. His wife is Susannah Lees. Children in patriot file: Abm to m. Mary S. Greenawald; Samuel who m. Mary Hosman; Henry who m. Mary Anna Rhodes. [3]

He passed away in 1831 in Berks Co., Pennsylvania.
